MHS Presents the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology the 2010 Excellence in Obstetric Care Award
Today, MHS recognized the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology with the 2010 Excellence in Obstetric Care Award. Paul Sabin, vice president of Network Management & Development at MHS presented Vanessa Barnabei, M.D., Ph.D., director of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin with this award. The physicians at the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology have provided excellent quality of care to MHS members in the OB category (i.e., 17P utilization, notification of pregnancy, cesarean section delivery rate).
“The satisfaction of our members is important to us. Based upon positive feedback from members and their case managers regarding the quality of care they received by these providers, assisted in the determination of the winner for this quality award”, says Paul Sabin.
MHS commends the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for their dedication and quality of care they provide to our members. The award is one of two awards presented each year by MHS. The award is sponsored by the Centene Foundation.
