WI Smoking Ban Now in Effect for all Public Workplaces, Bars and Restaurants; July 5

Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle signed a statewide workplace smoking ban into law. The law takes effect today, July 5, 2010, and applies to all Wisconsin public workplaces, as well as bars and restaurants. MHS encourages healthy living! If you or a loved one is interested in quit smoking there are smoking cessation programs available. MHS and NHP members also receive smoking cessation services (medication and counseling) as a covered benefit.
