Beginning in May of 2011, Managed Health Services (MHS) will now give our Core program members rewards for making healthy choices. Our members in the Core Program are eligible for our CentAccount program. After completing a healthy behavior, a CentAccount card will be mailed to Core members. The card will already have the reward amount in the account. New rewards will be added as screenings are completed.
MHS Core members can use this card to pay for health related items like co-pays or over the counter health items.
When do I get my CentAccount card?
- After you have completed one of the healthy behaviors listed below.
- And MHS has received a claim for the service from one of our providers.
What can I buy with the CentAccount card?
Your card can be used to purchase health related products and services, including:
- Co-pays at pharmacies.
- Co-pays at healthcare provider’s offices.
- Contact lens solution.
- First aid dressings & supplies.
- Reading glasses.
- Blood pressure monitors
- Cholesterol testing supplies
- Diabetes testing & aids
- Denture adhesives, repair & cleansers
- Diagnostic products (thermometers, blood pressure monitors, cholesterol testing)
- Ear care (unmedicated)
- Elastic bandages
- Contact lens care
- Family planning (pregnancy kits, ovulation kits)
- First aid dressings & supplies
- Foot care treatment (unmedicated)
- Hearing Aids
- Home Healthcare (Ostomy, decubitis/pressure relief, enteral/ parenteral feeding supplies, patient- lifting aids, hydrocollators, electrotherapy products, catheters, wheelchairs)
- Hot/Cold therapy
- Incontinence protection & treatment products
- Medical batteries
- Nebulizers
- Orthopedic supports & rib belts
- Reading glasses
- Support braces
- Therapeutic insoles
- Thermometers
- Walking aids
If your purchase is more expensive than the balance on your card, you must use another form of payment for the difference in cost.
