2023 Inpatient and Outpatient Claims Payment Process

MHS Health Wisconsin has improved its inpatient and outpatient claims payment process as it relates to new year rate changes.  

In previous years, there has been a delay in payment for inpatient and outpatient claims at the new year’s rates. 

In 2023, MHS Health will pay all claims at the 2022 rates loaded in the system as the claims are received. Once the 2023 rates are loaded, MHS Health will run claims projects to adjust and pay the difference. We anticipate the adjustments will be made by the end of first quarter of 2023.
